2014 Consumer Confidence Report
The Stone Bridge Fire District (SBFD) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending 4/30/2015, with the option of auditing its financial statements for each of the 2 subsequent fiscal years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the standards set forth for financial audits in the Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
If applicable, these audits are to be performed in accordance with the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act of 1984 as amended by the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996 and U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of State and Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations.
Separate sealed bids must be received at the office of the SBFD, 1761 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI 02878, by 12:00 PM on April 17, 2015, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Copies of the Audit Bid Specifications may be obtained at the SBFD office, located at 1761 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI 02878; Monday through Friday between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.; (401) 624-4486. Specifications will be mailed or provided by email upon request.
